Users review: The latest Star Trek movie is a tough one to beat. It is near perfect (lens flares and all). So the film had earlier this tough battle up the hill. I'm happy to report that writing, directing, cinematography and acting is at least as good as the last one of all. Cumberbatch is brilliant. I wont reveal any spoilers, but I will say that thrown back at earlier film is very clever and very well executed. It's hard to find fault with this film, especially since it had bigger shoes to fill. But with so many brilliant and effortless. The extra depth that we see in the characters of Kirk and Spock are icing on a delicious cake! JJ excellent, producer, actor, writer and musician. It is one of the few movies I've ever take full marks, and deservedly so. |
