Users review: High school misfit Carrie (Sissy Spacek) whose tortured unleashes her telekinetic fury. It was a big hit in 1976, and it scared me silly. This (with the exception of the final sequence) does not scare me anymore, but I still get a good solid horror film directed by Brian De Palma, I think. These are some beautiful pictures of fast action (with a soft focus color turned everything is connected), and almost uniformly, have a good performance. The only bad thing out of his depth in the title is a play by John Travolta. Amy Irving (Carrie befriends a student), (one with more than 70 African), William Katt, Nancy Allen, Betty Buckley (so young and full of energy) and PJ Soles (silly (played by a real woman), but tolerable) are all perfect. However, the Spacek Piper Laurie in his deranged religious mother, when we, too, is excellent, which is scary and beautiful. Also in the film (by today's standards) is very careful in terms of blood and gore. And the final sequence will jump you (even if the difference in the background of the car - theyre back) Only complaints - some of De Palma really hate high school kids - you know how it feels like hes out here are some personal questions. And we are really slow-motion sequences, there has to be at the top of the shower? That being said - this is a great movie. See letterbox. |
